Web Strategies

Starting a local business page:
  1. Pick your "Vendor of the Month"
Strategically look for Real-estate-related options, plus things that are popular giveaways, such as food, car wash, etc. etc.
Possible Vendor Categories: Homeowners Ins, Loan Officer, Title Company, inspectors, appraisers, painters, handy-people, lawn/landscape, interior decorating, plumbing, heating, construction, electrical, snow plowing, appliances, carpeting, ad infinitum....

  2. Get the Business' Name, Owner's name, Address, directions, Telephone Number, etc.

  3. A "Blurb" if you or they want one. Also any interesting background about how you met or work with them...

  4. Describe exactly the promotional item or discount, including dates.

  5. Photos (more is better) - Storefront, interior, or signage shot - Owner with You, - You in front of the store, etc.

MNRealty can shoot these if you prefer (see photography costs), however, they really are just "grab shots". You should be in the photos for maximum effect, so you may consider having a coworker or friend shoot them.
