Show them your stuff!

It's important to list your professional credentials and resume, else a visitor might think you have no credentials at all! Don't assume that everyone knows about the "standard stuff," and don't assume that credentials are not important to certain types of visitors. Remember, it's their choice which buttons they click. Make sure you have "something for everyone!"

Many jobs and experiences helped prepare you
for Real Estate Marketing and Sales...

Your resume is important to analytical people and provides credibility and class to one of your past clients or sphere who is passing your name and web address on to a referral. Think about many of the seminars, classes, committees, etc. that you have attended over the years. Consider education and location of schools as also a "rapport" asset. Bullet lists offer a quick read, or you can do a chronological "storytelling" approach. Some things to include:

  • Designations Earned
  • Sales level accomplishments (Presidents Club, etc.)
  • Sales or Transaction Statistics ($XXX Million sold, 1000+ Sales, etc.)
  • Organizations (Board of Realtors, etc.)
  • Offices Held, Committees, etc.
  • Honors & Awards
As a final wrap-up of your resume, try to give a conclusion that relates your accomplishments to the job, and why it prepares you to to a good job for your customers! You can also furnish several testimonials when appropriate.
